Selection of genre’ and narrative structure

Selection of genre:

To net get get confused or have any arguments with the team members on deciding what or genre would be as everyone had different opinions so we had decided to do a questionnaire with our friends and family which resulted in our genre being "Pop". Pop was already our top decisions and also now it was advised by or targeted audience so we had no reason to not choose pop as we now knew that we and our audience would be thrilled to have a pop music video

Narrative structure:

Narrative structure of our music video will be dictated by the social issue that we chose. The social issue that we choose is "break up ", it was the most voted for in our questioner as in todays generation and society dating has become really common and when things don't work out it results in the couple going through a break up. as most of our targeted audience was teenagers they could easily relate to it and would enjoy it even more in the form of a music video So the narrative structure would include:

• our actors that are going through a heard break up

• What were the issues they were facing that made them take this step
